FORM of
naturally occurring and selectively adapted bacteria, which digest
and metabolize fats, oils and grease of animal and plant origin.
Like other Chemtech International formulations, this is a specifically
designed product of choice for augmenting specialized waste treatment
situations, domestic sanitary sewage, and kitchen waste. The bacteria
in this product capably degrade protein and starches (and other
carbohydrates) in gums, nonstarch polysaccharides and other materials
that comprise sewage. This product is now available in a soluble,
water dispersible formula for the low residue and fast solubility
action that some consumers require. Product is a useful component
in septic tank maintenance products.
Facultative, spore-forming
bacteria and vegetative bacterial forms, which are of the type
to produce high quantities of organic catalysts.
These bacteria
are capable of growing under aerobic and anaerobic (fermentative)
conditions. They respond to organic waste with rapid germination
and rates of growth. They are able to adhere to artificial and
natural media for rapid establishment of biofilms in biological
treatment facilities.
Extracellular enzyme production.
These bacteria have the potential for the production of high concentrations
of organic catalysts, which accelerate the degradation of many
types of organic polymers, such as proteins, fats, and plant carbohydrates
as well as certain other solid material.
