Chemtech's Bio Augmentation Formulation:

Products for Oils, Fats, and Greases (Bacteria Concentrate)

General Benefits:

BIOAUGMENTATION can reduce the frequency and severity of plant upsets, and improve reliability of the system as evidenced by higher quality effluents. Bioaugmentation and bioremediations are processes by which specific bacterial strains with higher growth rates and greater substrate utilization rates are applied. Bioaugmentation is used to remove specific waste compounds at higher rates, reduce treatment surcharges, and accelerate treatment plant efficiency during initial and restart periods. In addition, the products can help during seasonal changes. Bioaugmentation is used to minimize the impact of production changes and effluent peak loading in industrial treatment situations.

Improved treatment efficiency is also reflected in reduced effluent organic compounds and are evidenced by observations which include improved flocculation in settling areas and better quality protozoan content in aerobic treatment areas. Finally, more efficient nitrification occurs in aerobic processes.

Chemtech's Bio Augmentation Formulation: Products for Oils, Fats, and Greases (Bacteria Concentrate)

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:

A dry, granular fermentation product containing:

Facultative, spore-forming bacteria and vegetative bacterial forms, which are of the type to produce high quantities of organic catalysts. These bacteria are capable of growing under aerobic and anaerobic (fermentative) conditions. They respond to organic waste with rapid germination and rates of growth. They are able to adhere to artificial and natural media for rapid establishment of biofilms in biological treatment facilities.

Extracellular enzyme production. These bacteria have the potential for the production of high concentrations of organic catalysts which accelerate the degradation of many types of organic polymers, such as proteins, fats, and plant carbohydrates as well as certain other solid material,

Multiple strains for broad variety of spectrum of activity Products that contain multiple strains of microorganisms have a better opportunity in helping to liquefy and degrade organic materials.

ANALYSIS: Viable arobic bacteria not less than 5.0 Billion/g (150 billion CFU per ounce).

METHOD OF ANALYSIS: Typical densities are in range of 0.48-0.61 g/cm3

METHOD CONTENT: Less than 15% by weight.

STABILITY: Typical loss 1.0 log/yr under recommended storage conditions
