Absorption Corp. is a leading manufacturer of biodegradable, natural, wood fiber cellulose Absorbent^TM products. For the past few years Chemtech Int’l has been marketing worldwide its innovative designed Spill Containment Flexible berms and free-standing flexible Onion and Pillow Tanks via network of distribution in the USA, Europe, Asia, South Africa and Australia.  Absorbent^TM products, therefore, are complimentary to our Spill Containment berms. 

Our Absorbent^TM W products for OIL ONLY serve the Marine environment as well as the Petroleum industry by absorbing oil and other petroleum based liquids from water surface while repelling water. Oil spills on water surface are readily absorbed preventing further damage to marine life, while limiting shoreline pollution.  Booms, Socks, Pillows, Pads, Rolls and Loose Particulate make up the Absorbent^TM W product line. Absorbent^TM W Emergency Spill kits of different sizes, with various spill containment capacities, are available. Absorbent^TM W is also used as a “filtration” media for separation of oil from oily wastewater prior to discharge and reuse.  Our Scrubber 55 product serves this purpose. 

Our Absorbent^TM GP (general purpose) products absorb ALL LIQUIDS, including oils, fuels, and water based chemicals. These products are applied to industrial spills that may occur in factories, manufacturing/maintenance facilities, repair shops, oil refineries, highways, construction sites, airports, shipyards and transit system garages.  Absorbent^TM GP products include Socks, Pillows, Pads, Rolls and Loose Particulate that is applied to shop floor cleanup.  Absorbent^TM Emergency Spill Kits of different sizes, with various spill containment capacities, are available. Rapid spill protection and cleanup help minimize lost production time and insure safety in workplace.

All Absorbent^TM products are lightweight; free of silica dust; easy to apply; and require no special handling or protective clothing while being applied to a Spill.  Our organic type absorbent products are more efficient as less product is required to complete a clean up task compared to synthetic (polypropylene) or mineral (clay and diatomaceous earth) based adsorbents. The Instant Absorption of spilled liquids results in a fast recovery from a spill, with less labor hours spent on a job.   

Environmentally acceptable disposal options include direct landfills, incineration and bioremediation.
